As an alternative to unscrewing / rotating-core molds, the core is separated from the part prior to ejection in collapsing-core molds. This allows for a reduction in cooling time and reduces the chances of distortion. The possibility also exists for a reduction in mold size since unscrewing racks are not required. Janler is very adept at designing and manufacturing collapsing-core molds.
